Depending on how one do and see it, driving a car may differ whether it’s enjoyable, boring, or uncomfortable. The essence in driving a car is measured how the driver sees it.

In reality, cars are now considered a need for nearly all people living in urban cities. Choosing to drive a car than to take public transportation to get to work can be the measurement of promotion or getting fired from work, especially if the everyday path one takes is prone to traffic jams. Driving is also more comfortable than sitting in a bus or standing up in a subway train elbow to elbow with other people.

Driving comfortably, however, depends on the region. If you live in a locality where there is minor or no traffic at all, then you have a painless travel life. Choosing public transportation or driving your own car will also be easier without having to worry which is the fastest. You also don’t have to be concerned on how much gas you’ll consume and pay for the next time you you fill ‘er up.

Then again, if you live in a place where traffic jams are an everyday encounter, chances are you might have it easier than other people. Actually, you should know that there are more people who are unluckier than you since they most likely have to get up at an earlier time than you just to avoid traffic.

Below are some of the worst places to drive a car.

Los Angeles, California, USA: If you ask people in the US which city has the worst traffic, a majority of them will tell you Los Angeles has the nastiest traffic in the entire 50 states. Los Angeles also has the highest quantity of smog because of traffic jams. Motorists of their hours each day stuck in traffic.

Mumbai, India: Aside from potholes, cars have to share roads with carts pushed or pulled by oxen, bicycles, or people. A motorist in Mumbai has to be watchful not to bump any of these and their only option is to give way to them even though roads are actually only intended for cars. The crowded roads and streets of Mumbai also stop when Hinduism’s sacred animals such as cows decide to cross or lie down in the middle of the road.

Hong Kong: The number of cars in Hong Kong keeps on growing every year but Hong Kong’s roads are becoming too narrow to accommodate them. The cost in widening Hong Kong’s roads is worth billions of dollars as buildings have to be demolished and loads of people will have to be relocated.

Manila, Philippines: Traffic jams are a regular challenge in the streets and roads of Manila. Although rush hours have something to do with it, disciplinary problems play a large part. Passenger vehicles usually trigger the most traffic in Manila where buses and jeeps stop anywhere they want to to get passengers that leads to accidents and mishaps. Comfortable driving in Manila mostly happens during Sundays and Holidays because people are staying in their homes.

These places are just only some of the countless ones where driving can prove stressful. These days, driving cars should be patient and should think positively when it comes to driving in traffic to be not as much nerve-racking and possibly entertaining.
